On the strength of that, TRC has engaged RCP across more of its portfolio. RCP is lead development advisor and project manager for five strategic landholdings with a combined yield of more than 530 homes, with more schemes winning Board approval since. The work runs from feasibility and masterplanning through procurement and delivery, on sites including Pīrangi, Concord, Site A and Epping Evandale. RCP also manages the Quality Homes Programme, upgrading thousands of tenanted social houses to Healthy Homes standards while residents stay in place.
Across the programme RCP has moved engagement with mana whenua, hapū and Pasifika communities from consultation toward partnership, with iwi sharing in design decisions rather than being brought in after them.
RCP's work has moved schemes from planning into delivery, with homes now being built for the Tāmaki communities they are meant for.
