RCP started in New Zealand in 1994 with the Sky Tower, one of the most challenging construction projects the country had ever taken on.
Doing big, ambitious things with careful planning has been our DNA from day one. From that first project we grew steadily, taking on some of the most complex and high-profile developments across the country and earning a reputation for delivering where it mattered most.
What began as a small team with a bold idea is now a business spanning New Zealand and Canada, still driven by the same appetite for a challenge and still pushing the boundaries of what a project consultancy can be.

The places and projects we work on belong to the communities that live with them long after construction is complete. Our approach is premised on relationships first. We engage as people before we engage as a business, and we work hard to ensure the voices of Indigenous communities, including the First Nations on whose territories we work, are genuinely present in the decisions that shape their environment. Building that kind of trust takes time, cultural competency, and a willingness to listen. It is something we invest in seriously across everything we do.

We measure and work to reduce our carbon footprint, and we are actively working toward net zero. Through the advice we give and the projects we are part of, we advocate for better environmental outcomes and push for higher standards across the industry.
