Rachel Orchard

Rachel brings a commercial lens to everything she touches, always coming back to what is best for the business and, through it, for clients. As Chief Operating Officer she oversees RCP’s shared services: finance, IT, marketing, legal and people.

Her career has never sat neatly inside a finance title. Working in small and mid-sized New Zealand businesses, she consistently took on more than the numbers, from warehouse operations to IT systems and HR, building a view of how a business actually runs. An MBA in operations, management and international business sharpened that commercial instinct.

She joined RCP in 2022 as Head of Finance and IT and built a commercially focused finance team before stepping into the COO role. Today her attention is on strategic alignment and operational strength across the business, working close to system implementations, day-to-day operational challenges and the decisions that shape where RCP is heading.
