Barfoot & Thompson's long-standing site on Remuera Road had become a cluster of ageing buildings. The agency wanted a purpose-built home for its Remuera branch, a modern four-level commercial building to anchor it in the neighbourhood, with the branch across two floors, a further office level for lease and a mixed-use tenancy activating the Clonbern Road edge.

RCP partnered with Barfoot & Thompson from the outset, giving early development advice and testing the feasibility and investment parameters that set the brief. Through design and approvals RCP managed the consultant team, coordinated the planning and consent requirements and led the contractor procurement, appointing Dominion Construction. With demolition due in early 2026, RCP continues as project manager and Engineer to the Contract through construction and fit-out.
